TRADITIONAL FOOD

Pisang Epe (Pressed Banana)
Made of half ripe pisang kepok (special kind of banana) that grilled and pressed (diepe). and eated with palm sugar sauce, to make it smell good the sauce mixed with durian.
Pisang Ijo (Green Banana)
Made of pisang raja(king of banana), covered by white flour that mixed with coconut milk and pandan leaf sauce to colored it Eated with ice sauce and poured with syruup.
Pallu Butung
Made of the pieces of banana, cooked with coconut milk, sugar, white flour, vanili, and a little bit of salt
Loka Anjoroi
Made of half ripe pisang kepok, cooked with coconut sauce, salt, msg, eated with Lawa' Penja and Sambal(hot chili sauce).
Coto Mangkasara
Made of liver, brain, bef or horse meat, cooked with fragrant grass, ginger root, coriander, parsley, shallots, gralic, refined salt,laurel leaf, bean sharp spice, and eat with steamed rice, taoco sharp spice, soya, and lemon.

Sop Konro(Konro Soup)
Made from cow or buffalo rib, cooked with coriander, parsley, fragrant grass, kaloa, shallots, gralic, salt, refined, and eat with rice and spice.

Kapurung
Made of cooked and small rounded sago, mixed with cooked vegetables such as spinach, small nightshade, added by cooked fish or chiken and mixed with spice.
Other kinds of traditional cookies and cakes :
cucuru bayao, sikaporo, bolu peca, biji nangka, barongko,bingka, boulu lullung, tape, burasa, paserra, nennu-nennu, beppa pute, onde-onde, lame-lame, ringgi-ringgi, suwella, jompo-jompo, roko-roko, bandang-bandang, doko-doko cangkuning. These tradional cookies and cakes usually made in special events such as marriage party, akikah(the seventh day of baby), and in welcoming the important guests.
